Tournay is a gold-coloured beer, calling the blond colour of earn in the sunset of summer evenings. This beer has been matured in bottle and only contains natural ingredients such as water, malt, sugar, hops and yeast. Without any spice addition.

Very dark brown walnut color, the head is huge and tan, but has mostly subsided and disappeared. Huge belgian yeast nose of wierd dust, cobwebs, slighty spicy with underlying chocolate. First sip: Coffee and cocoa around the edges of a somehwhat sour and yeasty ale. Dry as hell at the finish, the combination of the dark sweet malts and the weird yeast is really enjoyable and makes it complex as hell. Long dry aftertaste of coffee chased Oerbier. Fantastic. Alcohol is well masked.

A very nice beer.

This beer looks like it means business right from the start. It is dark red brown with a good fluffy head and has a rich spicy malt nose with a few bitter orange notes. The palate has a big hoppy bite and a rich, fruity, dark coffee character, which tries to become roasted in the finish.

This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. We find this beer is great when served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it warms up.

Clear orange golden color, medium white head. Aroma of sweet gueuzes, not oaky at all but you can just smell the sugar. Taste is extremely sweet of sugar with a bit tartness

Louwaege's kriek is beer with spontaneous fermentation brewed in valley of the Zenne. Basis for this sweet Kriek is authentic Lambic.

Spicy (mainly licorice) aroma. Brown color, hazy, large off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, licorice, spices, soft, little alcohol burn. Not bad, but not exceptional.

Blond artisanal beer from Brewery Gran d'Orge

Cloudy, flaky blond beer with a medium head. Strong herbal-floral aroma. Slightly sweet with a herbal, medecinal, wood taste. Light bitter finish with a woody aftertaste. A well balanced beer.

Cloudy golden color, medium white head. Aroma is spicy of coriander, fruity of citrus and banana, some wheat and yeast. Taste is bitter sweet, bit yeasty, but also refreshing from citrus.

'Troubadour' is a deep blond beer with 6,5 % alc. and a second fermentation on the bottle. This second fermentation is responsible for the higher alcoholpercentage and the further evolution of the beer in the bottle. When poured out in a suitable glass, 'Troubadour' has a thick white tenacious head. The first contact with the tongue results in a lovely sparkling feeling. The flavour is caracterized by a mild bitterness and somewhat spicy, followed by a pleasant sweet after taste and dry finish.

Pale golden with creamy head. Sweet, earthy aroma. Malty and surprisingly dry. Complex nutty flavour. Bitter finish. Excellent!
this is the name of an Ardennes dried ham speciality - nothing to do with nuts...) Light copper, yeast in suspension; very dense yellowish head. Nose of caramel, roasted, sharp liqueurish. Extremely sharp alcoholic taste, burnt caramel, sweet - very Huyghe-like tastes. Medium bodied.

From biological malt and hops, always a good thing. Small head that disappears quickly. Golden color, a bit hazy. Honey and citrusaroma. Thin, citric and a bit herbal with a good deal of tartness. Citric, hopbitter finish. Good quality witbier.

Organic beer with honey

A biggish, cream-white, fine, foamy head collapses unevenly. The beer is mostly clear and orangey-gold. Nose is spicy, dusty, medicinal. It smells like those wax lips or wax harmonicas you used to eat. Some nice pepper and floral notes in the front, but bandaids and rubbing alcohol, too. Turns sweet and waxy. There's some sugar, too. But it's a little thin. A tangy, citrus finish is marred by an alcoholy sourness.

A "Bilberry" beer

Made of beers of high fermantation this fruity beer of blueberries, has a true color(not artificial).The flavour of the berries is recognizeable, but overall this beer is watery, dull and it has a awfull bitterness of bitter almonds at the end.

After 18 months the old lambic is blended with young lambic, and raspberries and raspberry juice are added.

This fruity and sweet mixture of raspberries and lambic gives the refined and mellow of Jacobins Framboise. To be served in the matching champagne glass.

Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

This belgian ale pours with a yellow body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet but mostly bitter and grassy wtih a slightly spicy woody note. The flavor is similar with more spicy notes and more woody notes. Medium bodied and smooth but mostly dry.

CHOUFFECoffee is a liqueur with a base of Esprit d'Achouffe (beer brandy) obtained through the distillation of Chouffe.

Addition of grain alcohol and 100% natural coffee extracts and a strong dash of Mc Chouffe produce this exceptional result : a highly delicious coffee liqueur !!!

A somewhat hazy orange on the pour, the head mountainous and light tan in color, frothy and after decomposing the lace forms a delicate sheet upon the glass. Malt is dominate in the lightly sweet nose, a tad plum like, but a pleasant beer to sniff, and the start sweet and malt laden, the top middling in feel. Finish is quite acidic but not unpleasant, the hops perfect in their spiciness, droughty long lasting aftertaste with a bit of “belly warming to boot”, drinkable and I think a fine beer have a couple of after a fine dinner.
This is the original beer from Ecaussinnes. 7% alcohol. It is spiced, but you don't really taste the spices. Nice amber color, lightly caramelised with a light bitter taste at the end. A very nice beer, recommended by Michael Jackson.
