After bottling it is bottle conditioned a third time in the " Champenoise' bottle. Like the Champagne farmers of Reims and Epernay in France, the brewer has succeeded in collecting the yeast in the bottleneck where it is frozen and removed with the " degorgement".

A rare example of a refined and bubbling beer with a strong head and an elegant aftertaste.

Malheur Brut Reserve can be kept well, lying in a cool and dark environment.

Inspired by the brewing traditions at Corsendonk Abbey in Oud Turnhout, Corsendonk Abbey pale ale is brewed in the classis " tripel" style. Light, dry, with a great deal of finesse, the elegant balance of fruit and hops in this all-natural, bottle-conditioned ale will mature gracefully in bottle like a fine wine. Corsendonk Abbey brown ale is rich malty, with notes of port, raisins and black chocolate on the palate.
